Hein, RB Class of 1962. I'm a retired High
School Science Teacher (Biology and Aviation),
having taught for 34 years, mostly in Madison,
Wisconsin. Diane was also a teacher for 30
years in Madison. We retired to Estes Park
Colorado, and now both work as seasonal park
rangers May-October in Rocky Mountain National
Park. We travel other times of the year in our
little RV, mainly National Park areas -- also
some special trips to places like the Antarctic,
Peru, Galapagos, Easter Island, etc.... anything
wild and out of the ordinary.

will make it to our 50th class reunion this
coming summer of 2011. This is the big one.
Don't miss it! Graduated from S.I.U. then did 2
years in the Army. One year in Vietnam as a Crew
Chief/Door Gunner on a Helicopter in the 101 ST
Airborne Division. Went back to school and
graduated from Lewis (College) University with
an Airframe and Power Plant Ticket from the FAA.
Worked for American Airlines for 35 Years and
retired in 2002 as the Manager of Aircraft
Maintenance, Quality Assurance.
Along the way earned my Pilots Lic and Sky
Diving Lic. Made 3,464 jumps before calling it
quits. I was on numerous state skydiving records
and several world records. I still work as a
volunteer on old World War Two Aircraft like the
B-25, 'Executive Sweet' that I fly with as part
of the crew. Still having fun and enjoying
retirement.

Had a great time
at the game and reunion (Edens)last fall. Dick
and I are married this month 40 years. Both
sons (former RB students) are both married. The
youngest now has 3 children (Rachel-3 and Tyler
and Braden - 2 month old twin boys). Hands full
what with working and 3 kids under age 3. I am
at RB now almost 17 years but am debating what
the near future is going to bring. Maybe it's
time to "hang it up". We'll see...Hope to see
you all again in about another 5 yrs for another
reunion. Take care and remember "It's Great to
be a Bulldog", even tho it was a long time ago.

interesting and fun reading about all of you.
I'm sorry to have missed last years reunion.
Never attended, but perhaps there will be
another. Just a little fyi...I am divorced,
have three daughters, youngest living in LA,
middle in Asheville, NC and oldest here in Chatt.
town. Also, have two precious grand-babies and
an adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. My
career projects were mostly corporate in
Chicago, Naperville and Oak Brook. For the past
19+ years to present I live in beautiful
Chattanooga. Still take on a project on
occasion, but mostly volunteer and support my
faith community, the arts and social causes. I
have traveled extensively and will continue to
do so...will be in Chicago in couple weeks.
Can't believe I've made this connection, it was
fun and hope that others will get inspired to do
the same.
After all, the world is flat. It's not as big
as we once thought.. hmmmm

31 years being licensed in Illinois and Florida.
I also recently completed all my appraiser
certificates. I have fond memories of the
