Introduction:
In Burger's Daughter, the reader is presented with a story about a family that is dismantled due to their politital beliefs. The story is set in South Africa during the early-mid 1900's. This was a time of great political turmoil and tension in the country. In this webquest, you will be asked to perform three tasks that will help you better understand what is going on in South Africa at the time of the novel. Each task that is given will help you understand the novel in more ways than one. This is an excellent way to help prepare you for the issues that are brought up in the book. Good luck!
