ABOUT US:
In the years to come, we wish to save our natural resources, better our towns’ greenland, and protect our environment from the problems it faces.
The goal for SEE Team is to better and further the production of our environment within our area.
We wish to remove anything that may harm our areas green beauty, and to plant some new life and to save what can still grow and flourish.
Even though our program is designed to better the areas that we can see ourselves that doesn’t mean you can’t help us by giving a helping hand to the areas around you. |

SEE team is Riverside-Brookfield High School’s environmental awareness program. Currently, the teachers are Jame Holt (Science), Jen Waldock (Math), Dan Mancoff (English), Val McIntyre and Bill Frey (Wellness), and Laura Drzonek (Special Projects).
In SEE Team students are removed from the general population for the afternoon. For those five periods the students are taught their core class, except each class has an environmental theme.
In the English class, students read books with environmental themes and conduct environmental research.
In Science the students will learn about Biology and the plants that we live with and the forests we see every day. We learn about the animals in need, who’s species is threatened in existence, and research our options on what we can do to help.
In Math the students look at how data and numbers can be analyzed in regards to environmental problems. |
